• Provides technical training and consulting to customers
• Obtains and maintains certifications on SOLIDWORKS applications as directed by manager
• Provides recommendations for the best solutions to meet GSC’s customer needs
• Specializes in understanding the different 3DExperience roles and apps
• Provides technical support in person or virtually
• Works with the Marketing and Business Development teams to support pre and post-sales efforts
• Matches customer needs to specific GSC represented technology, supporting the technical side of the sales process
• Develops custom GSC collateral and curriculum for use in pre or post sales capacity
• Partners with Marketing to create and maintain buyers’ journeys, nurture campaigns, and see-think-do material
• Coordinates and executes the installation of the software if needed
• Delivers Webinars and Power Hours
• Works with the Application Engineering team to determine project assignments, report project status, and collaborate on problem solving
• Attends yearly update training and What’s New sessions to ensure technical knowledge is kept current
• Attends company events and technical user group meetings that may include travel and evenings hours

• Prior technical support experience in a software related field
• Understanding of engineering processes and terms
• Experience providing technical training to adult learners preferred
• Mechanical design experience desired
• Outstanding presentation skills
• Customer focused approach
• Basic understanding of computer networking and hardware
• Skilled at problem solving, basic project management, basic negotiation, and effective written/oral communication
• Able to travel locally and in the region, some overnight travel may be involved

• 4-year degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering field required or equivalent work experience
• 2+ years of professional SOLIDWORKS experience highly preferred
