The primary responsibility of the position is to make outbound telephone calls to established customer accounts in a consistent, friendly manner to obtain and process orders and meet or exceed sales quotas through the use of suggestive selling techniques for new or existing products. The Inside Sales Representative’s role is to generate “profitable growth through the sale and distribution of refreshing beverages, innovative customer-focused marketing programs and superior customer service”. Additionally this position will respond to customer inquiries and provide backup to customer service, as needed.
- Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills including persuasive and diplomatic skills.
- Excellent telephone etiquette and customer service skills.
- Experience in telephone sales and/or beverage specific experience.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office PC software.
- Prolonged sitting.
- Repetitive motions of wrists, fingers, and arms.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Excellent problem solving skills.
- Basic Mathematics knowledge and skills.
- Ability to work well with other employees and departments.
- Ability to handle multiple projects.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Ability to speak, read and write the English language.
