Tradesmen of New England LLC is a full-service HVAC company offering outstanding service and installation for Commercial, Industrial and Institutional facilities (no residential). Our geographical territories encompass Connecticut and Massachusetts. We are pursuing experienced HVAC Service Maintenance Contract Salesperson(s) to grow and accommodate regional customers.

The HVAC Service Contract Sales Representative will be responsible for meeting our customer acquisition and revenue growth targets by keeping our company competitive and innovative. The incumbent will be assigned a territory to grow clientele and accommodate current customers within the territory.

Responsibilities and Duties

Including, but not limited to the following:

  • Carries out TNE sales programs

  • Provide timely quotations to customers

  • Update customer contracts, answer sales calls and general inquiries

  • Maintains sales volume

  • Work with affiliates, as well as conduct market research to maintain a consistent stream of leads

  • Embody company culture and maintain high sales employee engagement

  • Ensure correct usage of company CRM, and other programs

  • Regularly visits clients or prospects

  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies

  • Identify emerging markets, market shifts, and solicit cold leads

  • Attend industry events, trade shows, and exhibit at tradeshows as needed

  • Maintain a well-groomed, professional appearance appropriate for the position and situation in which the Sales Representative may be involved


  • Bachelor’s degree (Engineering, Business, or other Technical fields), or related experience

  • Preferred 2+ years’ experience as an HVAC Salesperson, and experience in business-to-business delivering customer-driven solutions

  • Preferred 1+ years of working and demonstrable knowledge of Commercial HVAC (commercial boilers, Water Source Heat Pumps, AHU, burners, controls).

  • Preferred 1+ years of demonstrated experience with application development, system sizing, calculation, commissioning, and start-up.

  • Strong intrapersonal skills

  • Familiarity with data analysis and reporting

  • Experience with Microsoft suite business software, internet, database, CRM software, Google applications, cloud-based file management systems, and other related technological / computer skills

  • Positive and enthusiastic attitude with an entrepreneurial spirit

  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close

  • Committed to continuing education through workshops, seminars, and conferences

  • Use safe and appropriate practice of tools used in the trade

  • Must be customer focused and professional with both oral and written communication skills

  • Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

  • Must have successful background check and drug screen
