Full Job Description

Spare Parts Sales plays an active role in the success of our Aftermarket Business. The Spare Parts Sales works in a team to serve our customers with Spare Parts support. Though a considerable amount of time is spent on a phone or a computer, this is not a call center but rather a service and parts center. There are daily challenges to identify the customer’s needs and achieving them in a fast paced environment. Proactive activity in creating solutions, solving problems and creating business is required. This opportunity is for a spirited customer service candidate with strong computer skills.

Your role on our team

  • You will process customer orders/quotations using SAP
  • You answer customer calls and emails about machine parts
  • You resolve customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports, and making recommendations to management
  • You will provide post order support
  • You create proactive sales strategies.
  • You will serve customers by selling products and meeting customer needs
  • You are responsible for spare parts pricing
  • You will support spare parts needs during new machine installs
  • You will monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules
  • You will support our Technical Service group with spare parts needs
  • You will conduct spare parts research for internal and external customers
  • 4/5 times a year for one week at a time, the CSR is responsible for our 24 hours emergency service

Your Profile

  • You have obtained a Bachelor’s degree with a concentration in marketing, promotions, advertising sales, or business administration preferred
  • You have gained inside sales and/or customer service experience
  • You have gained working knowledge of SAP
  • You have a strong technical skills and the ability to apply those in a customer-service environment
  • You have the ability to interact in a positive and professional manner by phone with a focus on customer service
  • You have the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • You work well under pressure
  • You have a strong customer service and time management skills
  • You have a strong written and verbal communication skills
  • You have a strong computer skills, including experience utilizing Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
  • You have strong presentation skills
