The Staff Field Applications Engineer will call on our key accounts to drive all technical requests, coordinate factory applications, and lead all technical presentations.

Primary job responsibilities include:

• Work closely with sales and business development as well as factory applications to support key worldwide accounts
• Track design opportunity from initial meeting to final production
• Build business case for new product proposals
• Provide detailed schematic and layout reviews
• Support bench power on validation onsite at customer lab
• Collaborate with FAE colleagues in Asia to support reference design wins at ODMs
• Review system block diagrams and recommend best solutions to customer
• Must be able to travel 30% of time; domestic and internationally

Desired Education/Skills/Abilities:

• 6-8 years of Field Applications Engineer experience in the bay area with power management background for GPU and CPU in server, graphics, and higher performance computing applications
• BSEE or MSEE
• Deep knowledge in power management, including POL, MOSFET, DrMOS, SPS, digital controllers.
• Deep knowledge of power supply control topologies
• Good board validation and debugging skills
• Must have strong communication and collaboration skills
