Type: Full time 40 hours, paid by the hour with optional overtime + INCENTIVES!
When: Monday-Friday, 10:00am to 6:30pm
Where: BreakFix / VIP Team at Headquarters (344 N Washington Street, Saint Croix Falls, WI, 54024)
What: You will support and offer cutting edge technology solutions to home users and businesses. You are the jack of all trades. Your experience level will rapidly increase in this position because you never know what you will be asked on a daily basis from clients that walk into our doors. It may be a family, a business owner, or a CEO of a company. Other days will be deep in hardware and software repairs. You will also have the ability to perform onsite service visits and technology audits. Your work days will be split 50% between sales and repairs. As a physical instore staff member, your focus will be to work with remote teams as well as local clients who need your help as the “boots on the ground”. You will be the hands and face of the company to clients that walk into our headquarters.


  • 1-3 years of sales experience (retail)
  • 1-3 years of repair experience (computer hardware)
  • Proficient with Windows Operating Systems, Microsoft Office, Windows Server and VPN Configuration
  • Ability to troubleshoot software and hardware issues
  • Excellent communications skills and the ability to instruct non-technical users
  • Willingness to work as part of a team to deliver quality service to our clients
  • Time management and task prioritization skills
  • Excellent work ethic
  • Friendly, fun, and confident “can-do” attitude
  • Excellent multi-tasking skills
  • Must have IT/Technical knowledge aptitude and/or an interest in technology
  • Knowledge of hardware/software terminology and concepts
  • Willingness to work as part of a team to deliver quality service to our clients
  • Install operating systems, software and drivers
  • Provide basic user support through remote and phone troubleshooting


  • Experience as a freelancer at websites like Fiverr, Freelancer, or Upwork
  • Experience in a retail sales, install, or support position like Best Buy, T-Mobile, or AT&T
  • Experience at an MSP, MSSP, ISP, TSP, or other solutions provider company
  • Call center, cold calling, or other phone centric customer journeys
  • Experience performing onsite services and projects
  • Typing speed of 60+ WPM
  • Networking Experience (Cisco, Sonicwall, Datto, Ubiquiti, Watchguard)
  • Certifications (MCSE, CCNA, Comp TIA A+, MTA,
  • BS or Associates Degree in Technology Field
  • Platform experience in: Auvik, Connectwise Automate, Connectwise Control, Acronis, Repairshopr, IT Glue
  • Experience with cloud services such as email, file-sync, and backup
  • Iphone/iPad Device Management and Support
